New City Theaters is a Christian organization that hopes to welcome, entertain, educate and bless the community by utilizing cinema to build relationships among neighborhood families.

Our dream is to renovate the movie theater in the Friday’s Plaza shopping center in Doraville, transforming this empty building into a vibrant theater that will provide low-cost family movie and concert alternatives.

Movie Nights

Building community through cinema is our passion. Since 2010, we’ve hosted free screenings around Atlanta. These “movie nights” feature games and discussions. Money raised typically supports a local community organization. Read more about the movie nights.
